About this conversion
Marvel's Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe introduced the “Class” strength system in the 1980s: Class 10 means a character can lift up to 10 tons overhead, Class 50 means 50 tons, and so on. “Class 100” is the ceiling of the scale, it doesn't mean exactly 100 tons, it means “100 tons or more, we stopped counting.” The Hulk is typically placed around 100 tons at rest and effectively uncapped when enraged; Spider-Man is usually rated around 10 tons.
